About Wesley Olswouk
Wesley Olswouk began training in body movement with Tae Kwon Do in 1999 and dancing in 2002 when he was selected to attend Elementary School at the Northwest Florida Ballet Academy. This foundation of daily dance training led him to explore dozens of styles of dance. In 2016, he was introduced to Zouk dancing where he fell in love with the unique movements and connection. These aspects coupled with the variety of modern music led him to start the Zouk scene in Tampa, Florida and later quit his desk job to train hard in Brazil and teach throughout the world at congresses, weekenders, and smaller local classes in many countries. He completed multiple teacher training programs with world-renowned experts such as the Ramalhos and DJ Kakah as well. He loves leading multiple follows simultaneously, leading, following, and teaching both private and group classes.
